My golf travel experiences with Kellie to Kona, Maui & Lanai were amazing.  I’ve travel on two golf adventure trips so far and would love to do more.  I really enjoyed golfing at all of the beautiful golf courses.  The travel lodging & accommodations were great which made the entire trip relaxing & fun.  In addition, I’ve met new golf friends as we all played & vacationed on the Big Island and Maui.  The golf trips were fabulous experiences that I will always remember and cherish.

Thanks to my golf coach and friend, Kellie Hines, at 84, I still love golf and reap the rewards of physical wellness and the companionship of longstanding and new friends. 

I met Kellie while taking golfing lessons in Operation 36 which resulted in reducing my GHIN index by 7 points.  About 2 years ago I joined Kellie on a 4-day golf trip to the island of Hawaii.  Kelly arranged the ground transportation (rented vans), condominiums, and golf courses. We played at Kohanaiki, Mauna Lani, Hapuna, and Mauna Kea. Last year it was a trip to Maui golfing at Wailea Emerald, Ka’anapali Plantation, King Kamehameha, the Dunes, and Manele golf courses. We played mini challenges such as closest to the pin on par 3s, and “birdie juice”. No words to describe except FABULOUS AND FUN.

Although I hung around the jacuzzi and pool after golf, our younger members went on other activities like swimming with the sting rays and shopping,

This year I passed on a golf trip to Scotland but I’m packed and ready to go on more of Kellie’s future endeavors.
